Ripley Castle Wedding Video
Steph and James got Married at the beautiful All Saints Church in Ripley and held their Reception at the equally wonderful Ripley Castle.
It was our first time filming a wedding video at Ripley Castle, but one we had been hoping would come our way soon and just like buses, we already have another three bookings there for 2017.
We started the day visiting James, his Best man and Ushers. A relaxed morning for them as they met up at his farm in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside down a tiny little country lane. The lads chatted, drank tea and ate bacon sandwiches as we set up to capture their chatter ahead of James' big day. We got some great shots of them inside and of the rings, before heading briefly outside for a little bit of filming before they started to get ready for the big day.
After capturing a little more of them as this finished putting one shoes adjusting ties, we headed on to where Steph was getting ready.
Despite there being many more people with Steph it was a really relaxed location which made getting the best shots enjoyable and easy. Hair and makeup was being applied, Bridesmaids getting ready. Mother and Father of the Bride scurrying around doing things, We caught it all and bid our goodbyes for a short while.
Onwards to the Church, and what had been a slight amount of rain was now pretty bad. Unfortunately the rain continued for most of the day. This was perhaps biggest personal disappointment as we were unable to capture the amazing exterior shots that Ripley Castle has to offer. James and apparently predicted rain on their Wedding day, way back when they got Engaged, and so for them, it was not a problem.. For us and the Photographer, we simply had to utilise what we had been given and make it work - and that we did.
We completed the Wedding Reel video and edited all the other video; Ceremony, Speeches and First dance and had them all ready for when the couple returned from their Honeymoon two weeks after the Wedding. Once they had watched the video and given it the thumbs up, we produced the final DVDs and had these delivered ready for them to have an evening with Family and Friends watching them.
